I completed the three-year Alexander Technique teacher training course with Stan Hobbs in 1998 in Cologne, Germany. I moved to Paris in 2002, and I now divide my time between Paris and my native country, the United States.

I teach individuals and groups, and give public introductions to the Alexander Technique. My students include business professionals, educators, artists, musicians, fitness instructors, therapists, writers, and children.  Once a month I travel to Lille where I teach members of the Orchestre National de Lille.

Press and Publications:

  • 2006: The American Society of Alexander Technique Teachers published an article I wrote about working with children in AmSAT Magazine.
  • 2004:  Talkback, a magazine put out by the UK charity BackCare, published an article I wrote about the Technique and back pain.
  • 2002: I supervised the German translation of Indirect Procedures: A Musician's Guide to the Alexander Technique , also by Pedro de Alcantara. Its German title is Alexander-Technik für Musiker.
  • 2001:  I was interviewed on the Alexander Technique for a short informational piece broadcast by Radio Köln (Germany).
